I’m trying to prep myself for going out into the cold wet and windy street in half an hour without a coat. Maybe I can take a hot water bottle with me, but that’s a bit strange. I have a hat and that’s about it…Brrrr’s. LONDON! AH!
I was thinking, if it takes at least 4.2 years for the nearest star’s (besides the sun) light to reach earth, then if there was a supernova, does that mean we wouldn’t know about it until at least 4.2 years later? And we would still be seeing the star as normal even though it wasn’t there anymore?
Just something I’ve been thinking about for years! Ha.
